From Childhood to My Dedication to Film
I have been immersed in the field of film since my childhood days in South Korea. My dad, a television documentary producer, initiated my first steps into filmmaking. I was lucky enough to spend quality time with my father watching movies with him as he pointed out cinematography or direction he found appealing. In ninth grade, I acquired my first DSLR camera and started learning how to use media editing apps. As I practiced technical aspects of photography, graphic design, and filmography, I continued to seek out my dad's input and advice.
During my sophomore year, I decided filmography was the field that best captured my passion for visual mediums. Since then, I have been actively created films with local and global messages. Some of my work includes introductory films for startup companies and documentaries. Through my work, I hope to communicate
messages on both light and serious topics in a creative way that can easily approach viewers of all types.
